The SCMGA Spring Show was held on May 22, 2004 at the Orangeburg Fairgrounds in Orangeburg, SC. There were 209 goats registered to exhibit. Entries were from TN, AL, GA, NC & SC.

Carroll & Jackie Bishop initiated an auction of miscellaneous items to benefit the Youth Association. Donations were provided by Dianna Still, Misery farm, Register Distributing Co., G&G Milling, Lonestar BBQ & Mercantile, International BGA, USBGA, Russell Stover-Santee, Ranch Magazine, La Creuset of America, Inc, Sabatier Factory Outlet, Auto Glass MastersInc., Palmetto Furniture, Carolina graphics, Antelope Ranch, Barbara Still, Mary Eklund, Mears Cabinet Shop, Larry Daves, Teri Sullivan, Kathy Shultz, Ann Carter, Troyce Bryant, Bud Brantley and Allen Shaw.

A raffle was also held for a gas grill and the winner was Maryann Whitman of Westfield, NC. It was very successful and SCMGA thanks all the participants. ABGA judge Kathi Gentry judged the Youth and Meat goat shows and ABGA judge Bob Duke SR judged the triple sanctioned (ABGA. International BGA & USBGA) Percentage and Full Blood show. Ring stewards were Carroll Bishop and Brian Langley; awards were Joe McCall, Trish Doby, Ann carter and Kathy Shultz. Check in were Larry Daves and Prentis McDonald, weight check was Mercy Eklund, Announcer was Sam Tracy and Show Secretary was Jerri McDonald. Auctioneer, Chris Cook and Mrs. Barry Dozier.
