About the Pennsylvania Meat Goat Producers Association
The PMGPA was founded in 2004 to advance the meat goat industry in Pennsylvania through
education and promotion. The members-based organization’s goals include promoting meat
goats as a vital source of long term, stable income in agricultural operations, encouraging meat
goats as recognized classes in 4-H and FFA livestock shows, to support, maintain, and improve
the meat goat industry and to provide PMGPA members with information to help them
successfully breed and raise quality meat goats.
