Five Boer goats disappeared from the Leaning Tree Ranch at approximately 7:30 P.M. on Friday, March 24th.
Leslie Bader-Robinson and David Robinson of Leaning Tree heard tires squeal on Road 20 next to their pasture where they have does with young kids.
STOLEN were five young Boer goat kids including a buckling & doeling out of their FSE doe, a buckling sired by T-N-P, and a disbudded doeling which was sold and just waiting to be weaned before the new owner picked her up. The kids, all under two months of age, are reported as being very "people-friendly".
A $1,000 REWARD is offered by Leaning Tree for the safe return of these kids and the name of the person or persons who took them.
"We have taken great pains to produce these kids!", said Leslie. "I will see that anyone associated with this theft is charged with a felony. I may just be waiting (in the pasture) for them to return for another helping...".
She continued, "Being just under 2 months of age (the goats) were not tattooed yet, but I would recognize them (and them me). I also have their sires' DNA records on file. These are special kids and whoever took them probably doesn't have a clue about that".
If you have information on these kids or remember seeing or hearing anything suspicious please contact Leslie or David at the contact info listed below!
