Tri-Quest South African Boer Goats has been invited to participate as a guest consignor in the Tri-States Boer Genetics Production Sale on Sept 23, 2006 at 12 PM, Greensburg Fairgrounds, Greensburg, IN.
Tri-Quest, owned by Dan & Paulette Wohnoutka of Humansville, MO, has been raising goats since 1968 and concentrating on Boers since 1994.
Asked about their invitation to consign to this sale the Wohnoutka's responded, "We feel honored to be included in the sale with the quality of animals produced by Tri-States Genetics. We have selected 15 head of full South African adult does and will also bring three or four bucks. Our herd is free of CL, CAE, Johnne's, Q Fever etc. Our goats 'work for a living' here at Tri-Quest and are known for their longevity."
Pedigrees and photos of Tri-Quest goats that will be included in the sale may be viewed at www.triquestboergoats.com.
Tri-state Boer Genetics is a partnership of Alvin Tingle, Leon Werner, and David Frueh.
Leon Werner said, "We are in the Boer goat business for the long haul and want to treat everyone like we would like to be treated. Last year we had one of the best flushes in the country! We decided to share these animals with other breeders and thought the best way of doing that would be an auction."
This Tri-State's 4th sale. As in previous sales, there will be about 20 consignors offering goats in the sale.
