American Boer Goat Association Announces 2004 National Show Judges

San Angelo, Texas -- The American Boer Goat Association announced the panel of three judges chosen to judge the 2004 ABGA National Show.  These judges are Jackie Edwards, Stephenville, TX; Preston Faris, Sonora, TX; and Anton Ward, Harrels, NC.

These three were selected from a pool of 16 approved ABGA judges by participants of the 2002 and 2003 ABGA National Shows.

The first alternate judge to the panel is Norman Kohls of Eldorado, TX. The second alternate is Ewing Downen, of Early, TX.

The ABGA National Show will return to West Monroe, LA for the third consecutive year. The show will be held June 9-13 and promises to draw more attendance than any previous year.

ABGA Executive Director Robert Swize stated, “The 2003 National Show posted over 1,000 entries and was one of the largest Boer goat shows to date. We have every reason to believe that 2004 entries will exceed the 2003 numbers.”

Kody Sutherland of Goldthwaite, TX will serve as the judge for the Junior American Boer Goat Association National Show, to be held June 10, 2004 in conjunction with the ABGA National Show.
